To extent our project, we contacted Roice-Hurst to determine another project within the shelter that we could be a part of. They had us come in early on a Sunday, which we didn't mind at all, and we put together an entire 2,000 dollar cat kennel. The pieces did not come with directions so we had to figure it out on our own, but we did it, and it was a great accomplishment!
This blog is dedicated to my group's IB CAS project for 2013-2015. We will be volunteering two to three hours a month at Roice Hurst Humane Society and documenting our learning experiences on this page through photos, videos, and written reflections. Summer 2014 we will host a rummage sale of collected donations. The proceeds will be given to Roice Hurst Humane Society.

February Reflection
This month, in preparation for our CAS expo in March, we worked on examining all of our previous work and efforts and analyzing what our weaknesses and strengths are regarding the project. Because we wanted to have the most people come to our booth, we decided to have an actual dog present to reveal the need for animals to have sweet homes. People were thoroughly impressed with our efforts.
